Organometallics and Catalysis

I am an  inorganic and organometallic chemist. My research concerns all the transition metal chemistry aspects in order to find new catalytic reactions. Understanding catalytic and stoichiometric reaction mechanisms is the heart of my work. Special attention is made for characterization of unusual coordination modes such as 2 electron-3 center systems. My goals are to find new catalytic reactions under smooth reaction conditions and new perspectives for hydrogen storage.

Hydrogen Storage

Development of new concepts for liquid and solid hydrogen storage materials.

Small Molecules Activation

Inorganic and organometallic complexes for stoichiometric and catalytic activation of small molecules.

Coordination Chemistry

Coordination study of ligands bearing silicon and germanium atoms.

DFT  Calculations

Reaction mechanism studies by DFT analysis. (NBO, AIM, NCI plot)
